Dumb Stuff it's fun to find out

Although it is difficult to pinpoint the origin of the slow clap, Citizen Kane (1941) is often cited as the first movie to use the slow clap. The term slow clap gained steam in the popular lexicon in the mid to late 2000s. It is believed the term may have originated from a 2004 movie review by Roger Ebert, but it was probably being used long before that by the general public.
