| General 13:00- Begin Rehearsal · Clean Scene 2 of Act III 14:30- Break 14:36- End break · Run Scene 2 of Act III · Notes 1. O'Hara- don't chop as the Samurai and use your flames to dance over to Mortimer 2. Mortimer- get away from me- cross all the way down right 3. Klein- grab Jon's arm sooner 4. Brophy- pick up your cue on Hey Lou 5. Brophy- two whacks only 6. Rooney- be a little more forceful on "you don't need to tell me" 7. Rooney- when you salute Teddy- how do you feel about it?- Let us see your frustration and disgust at being here at all. 8. Teddy- when Brophy tells you it's a spy, we need to see a reaction 9. Rooney- 'he's got to go today'- use your stage left arm and keep yourself open 10. Rooney- 'yeah, thirteen bodies'- be tired of talking to Mortimer 11. Rooney- react when Mortimer cuts you off when you are trying to tell your story 12. Mortimer- we would like work the bit where Elaine elbows you 13. Mortimer- pick up the cue on 'practically' 14. Abby- cheat out on 'fussbudget' line 15. Rooney- cheat out when the ladies sit and refuse Teddy being put away 16. Witherspoon- cheat out when the ladies are seated on the couch 17. Rooney- your nephew- don't point to Mortimer 18. Mortimer- Don't pull upstage before you cross stage left to your aunts 19. Abby- be surprised when Klein appears 20. Mortimer- cheat out for your look at Einstein when trying to get him to sign papers 21. Einstein- don't wave to Klein 22. Einstein- close hands over your face 23. Martha and Abby- at the table after Einstein- have a little conversation before getting Witherspoon out of the room 24. Abby- pull downstage for your story about Mortimer and stay stage left 25. Jonathan- more of a reaction about Mortimer getting the house 26. Jonathan and cops- move Jonathan as he has his line about the record so that he is struggling 27. Abby- what are you trying to communicate on "Well, Martha"- we are going to win · Questions 1. Is Klein blocked during the Rooney phone call? Didn't notice it, but we will check it · Cops, Witherspoon, Teddy released 15:17- Break 15:25- End break · Notes 2. We have to start picking up the pace 3. Abby, Martha, Gibbs- all need to look at Mortimer when he starts screaming on his wrong number 4. Abby- don't pull the chair out for Gibbs 5. Gibbs- Elderberry Wine? Needs to be out 6. Mortimer- are you looking at the wine when you decide to start? 7. Abby- No, Mortimer, not that- more forceful and keep your hand on his until he realizes 8. Mortimer- look at the phone when it rings before you begin to cross 9. Mortimer- emphasize little in one little thing 10. Abby- take, before his voice changed, out front 11. Mortimer- say your line about writing review on the way to the theatre to your aunts 12. Abby- start moving at the start of the line about something big to criticize 13. Abby- when you tell Jonathan that he is nothing like our Jonathan- try it a few ways 14. Jonathan- be more graphic about the acid burns on Martha 15. Jonathan- Make the thought of Teddy a new thought 16. Abby- do not go toward Martha at all as you tell her to not let things boil over 17. Einstein- Pace once the aunts exit- go full into panic mode 16:34- End rehearsal
